There are garden beds scattered throughout the school as well as a site for solar panels and an outdoor classroom (that is not for track and field). I was warmly welcomed by the students and the LAMS staff. I was excited when we conducted the scavenger hunt to learn much more about the school dynamic. One of the CSUMB students that was in my group, Nick, was actually a past LAMS student. It was interesting to hear the changes that have taken in place.
